Bookyourtripz India Private Limited – Cancellation Policy
Bookyourtripz India Private Limited (“Bookyourtripz”) operates as a booking facilitator for travel services. All cancellations, applicable charges, and refund processes are governed by the terms and conditions set by the relevant Service Provider (such as airlines, hotels, bus operators, or tour providers).
1. General Guidelines
- Governing Rules: Cancellations are processed in accordance with the fare rules, specific policies, and refund timelines of each Service Provider.
- Convenience Fee: The convenience fee paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Processing Fee: A nominal service fee is charged by Bookyourtripz for processing cancellation requests. This fee is deducted from any eligible refund.
- Intermediary Role: Bookyourtripz acts solely as an intermediary and will issue refunds only after receiving funds from the Service Provider.
2. Cancellation Procedure
- Please initiate all cancellations through the “My Trips” or “Manage Booking” section of our website or mobile app.
- If you cancel directly with a Service Provider, promptly inform Bookyourtripz to facilitate accurate and timely refunds.
- Note that cancellation penalties typically increase as the scheduled departure or check-in approaches. Always refer to the Service Provider’s cut-off timelines before proceeding.
3. Service-Specific Policies
A. Flights
- Cancellation charges include any airline-imposed penalties, the Bookyourtripz service fee, and the non-refundable convenience fee.
- Many promotional or discounted airfares are non-refundable. In such cases, only applicable taxes may be refundable, subject to airline policy.
- If you purchase a Zero Cancellation add-on, penalties may be waived if cancellation occurs within the specified time frame (e.g., at least 24 hours prior to departure). The add-on fee is non-refundable.
B. Hotels
- Hotel cancellation rules vary by property and rate plan.
- Non-refundable rates will not yield any refund.
- Cancellations within 48–72 hours of check-in may incur a penalty of at least one night’s charge or more, subject to the property’s policy.
C. Bus and Rail
- Cancellation terms are determined by the respective operator or Indian Railways.
- Deductions are usually based on how close to departure the cancellation occurs (e.g., 50% if canceled 4–12 hours before departure).
- For train tickets: RAC/waitlisted e-tickets canceled up to 30 minutes before departure will incur minimum clerkage deductions as per IRCTC norms.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
- No-Show: Failure to cancel in advance and not using the service will result in forfeiture of the refund.
- Service Provider Cancellations: In the event that the Service Provider cancels (for example, canceled flights), Bookyourtripz will process a full refund upon receipt of funds from the provider.
- Booking Amendments: Modifications such as changes to date, route, or passenger name are treated as a new booking after cancellation and may result in cancellation charges, fare differences, and amendment fees.

Bookyourtripz is responsible solely for initiating and processing refunds upon receipt from the respective Service Provider. We are not liable for delays or failure of payment by the Service Provider.
